In the present global economic environment, economies of India and China possess a highly young demographic profile, generating the greatest opportunity for the entire region. It is both an opportunity and threat to the rest of the world. Trend growth rate in China have exceeded 10% since l980. India too has joined the growth bandwagon achieving 7-8% growth in her GDP since 2005-06.
Sector wise distribution of work force has witnessed a dramatic shift away from agriculture and industry in favor of services sector. This is a major shift since 1999-2000.
Sector wise percentage contribution to GDP has witnessed a decline for agriculture but a constant rise for services sector. This is a behavior experienced in the take-off stage. A drive to maturity necessitates a constant shift of resources from less to more productive sectors.
In this endeavor of achieving higher labor and capital productivity, traditions must be supported my modernity. Modern management is a prerequisite for a continuum of GDP growth.
It is in this direction that our institute will prepare you to explore your inner self in targeting academic and professional heights.
We offer well designed integrated curriculum of four semester program spread into two years leading to MMS degree, awarded by the University Mumbai.
The 1st
year comprises core subjects common to all students, wherein they learn on information technology, finance, human resource, marketing, production management, statistics, economics and law.
The 2nd year leads to specialization in an area of management. We offer marketing, finance and human resource as the three branches of specialization. Practical projects supported by theory forms the basis of learning. Regular tests, group discussions, presentation, and examinations are a regular feature.
Our emphasis is on skill building for which students are motivated to prepare and present a case study on topic of her/his choice before other participating students and teachers. This instills in them a sense of self confidence. They also learn communication skills. Statistical treatment of data lend empirical support.
