About HSNC Board

Before country ’s partition, Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board managed an institution of higher learning in Hyderabad (Sind) by the name of National College. It was a seat of excellence in science and arts attracting best minds. Late K. M. Kundanani was the Principal of the college at that time. After the partition, Sindhi Hindu Community migrated to free India, among them a sizeable proportion chose to settle in and around Mumbai. Principal Kundanani had the vision of forecasting the present and futuristic academic needs of the displaced Sindhi community. This led him and Late Barrister Hotchand G. Advani to start in 1949 Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board in Mumbai. Mr. Advani was the Founder President and Mr. Kundnani was the Founder Principal of the first college named Rishi Dayaram National College, Bandra. This was followed by a chain of Educational Institutions servicing teaching and research in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Education, Law, Pharmacy, Engineering and Technology. Today the Board manages 25 educational Institutions with approximately forty thousand students.
